Item Description The TruXedo TruXport is a t op mount soft-rolling cover that?s constructed with a sturdy aluminum frame. The tarp is made from a UV-resistant leather grain vinyl and attaches to the rails using industrial hook and loop fasteners. It also comes with a preset tension control to keep your cover looking great all year long. To operate the cover, just drop the tailgate, and on each rail, there will be a trigger latch. Pull both trigger latches to release the cover from the rails and then the cover can be rolled back. There are also supp ort rods to keep the cover from sinking in the middle from things like snow or rain. Once the cover is r olled all the way to the back, the cover can be latched into place to have full bed access while driving down the road. T o close the cover, just unlatch it and roll it back. Ensure that the support rods fall inside of the rails. Once the cover is rolled down to the tailgate, put the aluminum header inside the grooves on each rail and pull it down until it latches into position. With the tailgate closed and locked your cover cannot be opened, and that?s going to provide some extra security for your cargo. The TruXedo TruXport is made right here in the USA and is a no-drill installation. It comes with a 5-year warranty and we ship them for free to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Most customers take 20-30 minutes installing the Truxport . A big reason for the quick install is the no-drill clamps. The cover rolls all the way up to the cab for full bed access and straps securely for safe driving. The Truxport sits about 1 1/2" above the bed rails. The spring-loaded tensioner means no adjustment needed during season changes. Release the latch and then roll the cover up. It's that easy.
